📉 After the FOMC interest rate cuts, both crypto and equities traders were left feeling a bit concerned. Not because of the current cuts, but due to Jerome Powell's projection for 2025 to have half the amount of rate cuts as expected.

Altcoins, in particular, have gotten hammered over the past 24 hours. Assets like Avalanche (-16%), Chainlink (-16%) Litecoin (-16%), and Pepe (-17%) have pulled back considerably over the past 24 hours. If this was indeed an overreaction, there is a reasonable chance that the projects with the biggest drops will be the ones worth taking the biggest dip buy chances on.

📈 Litecoin is enjoying a nice mini run, jumping above $73 for the first time since July. This is its first mid-sized breakout from Bitcoin and altcoins since the spring. Two major factors are:

⚡️ LTC's continued rise of on-chain transaction volume, which has nearly crossed $4B in a single day

⚡️A rise in LTC retail interest, as a result of continued development and initiatives from the OG network

⚡️ Litecoin is seeing a consistently higher level of whale activity than usual since late August. On top of this, the level of discussions toward the 19th ranked market cap OG asset has erupted in a big way. Whether or not you are a fan of LTC, this is worth keeping an eye on.

⚡️ Litecoin has not been lighting social forums on fire with its market value dropping -36% since its April 1st peak. A sudden liquidation of 45.2K net 0.1-1 LTC wallets indicate that small traders are finally capitulating out of the OG crypto asset. Small fish impatiently 'jumping ship' is often a turnaround sign for an asset to begin turning bullish once again.
